Question 1

How Green Robot works

Accepted Answer

You tell Green Robot the job once. It researches Rhode Island crews, then calls and emails them. You pick the town. Shops visit the yard before you accept a price, and written quotes show up for you to compare. You can pick one or none. The robot paces calls so a shop is asked about your yard at most once a week. Calls may be recorded. Green Robot is a directory and a messenger. It does not cut the grass.

Question 2

Is Green Robot free?

Accepted Answer

Your first price-talk request is free, one per person, and no credit card is needed. The site ties that free request to your login email, your phone, and this browser. After that, the pricing page lists a Monthly plan at $12 a month or a Yearly plan at $119 a year. The About page describes Green Robot as a free AI service for contacting crews and bringing back written quotes. The plan prices are the cost of the robot’s calls and emails after that first request, not the crew’s yard-work price.

Question 3

Is Green Robot the lawn crew?

Accepted Answer

No. Privacy says My Green Robot is a Rhode Island lawn and landscape directory. Homeowners compare crews and ask a robot to start a price talk. We are not the lawn crew. We do not book or perform the yard work. A quoted price or a book button is not a contract. The office confirms the job, the price, the date, and insurance with you and the crew before work is booked.

Question 4

Who can use Green Robot?

Accepted Answer

The terms say you must be 18 or older and able to make a contract. Homeowners use the site to ask for quotes. Crews use it to be found or to claim a listing. Do not use it for trades the site does not list, such as plumbing, roofing, or electrical. The privacy policy says the site is for adults booking yard work or running a crew, and it does not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Question 5

Which Rhode Island towns are covered?

Accepted Answer

The About page says Green Robot serves Rhode Island, and town pages are listed on the Rhode Island towns page. Pick your town there to see local shops and ask for quotes. The homepage also groups some cities into areas such as Greater Providence, the West Bay, the Blackstone Valley, the East Bay, Newport and Aquidneck, and South County. Use the town list on the site as the set of town pages.

Question 6

What yard services can I ask for?

Accepted Answer

The services hub lists lawn, landscaping, tree, cleanup, irrigation, hardscape, and snow jobs in Rhode Island. Examples include lawn mowing, mulching, leaf removal, aeration, and snow removal. Open a service, then a town, and the robot can ask local shops for a real price. The site says not to use it for trades it does not list, such as plumbing, roofing, or electrical.
