Privacy Policy
Last updated October 10, 2026. This is how My Green Robot handles information on this site. It is not legal advice. Rhode Island and U.S. law apply.
Who we are
My Green Robot is a Rhode Island lawn and landscape directory. Homeowners compare crews and ask a robot to start a price talk. Crew owners can claim a listing. We are not the lawn crew. We do not book or perform the yard work.
What we collect
- Email and signup. If you ask for the price list or crew jobs, we store your email, homeowner or crew role, town if you typed one, and the time you signed up.
- Yard jobs. Jobs you pick, notes, town, budget, and which crews you want called, emailed, or texted.
- Yard photos and chat. Photos and messages you send in photo chat, plus a visitor id in your browser so the chat can remember the yard.
- Listing claims. If you say a listing is yours, we store the name, email, phone, and note you send so the office can check it.
- Calls. If you ask the robot to call a public listing number, the call may be recorded by our phone provider. We may store a summary, transcript, and a quoted price.
- Email and text drafts. Drafts written for a crew stay drafts until a person sends them. We store the draft so you can copy it.
- Browser storage. Your device may keep theme, selected crews, saved deals, a visitor id, and (if you add one) a phone-call key. See Cookies and storage.
We do not ask for a Social Security number, card number, or driver’s license to use the directory.
Public crew listings
The directory shows public business details such as name, Google star rating, review count, phone, website, and town. That information comes from public sources including Google Places. Google’s terms apply to that data. We do not sell a scraped phone list.
How we use it
- Show crews and start a price talk you asked for
- Email the price list or crew job notes you opted into
- Write call scripts, email drafts, and text drafts about the jobs you picked
- Save the job so the office can confirm a booking
- Review a listing claim
- Keep the site working and fix errors
We do not sell your email or photo list. We do not use your yard photos to train a public model.
Who can see it
We use vendors to run the product. They only get what they need to do that job:
- Supabase — stores leads, jobs, chats, claims, and drafts
- DeepSeek — writes chat replies and some drafts
- Bland.ai — places and may record outbound calls to listing numbers you picked
- Google — Places search and Maps listing details
A crew only sees what you ask us to send them (a call, or a draft you or the office send). The office can see jobs so they can confirm work before anyone is booked.
Emails
If you give an email, we use it for the list or job notes you asked for. Every marketing email will have a way to unsubscribe. Reply STOP or use the unsubscribe link and we will take you off that list. Transactional notes about a job you started may still be needed to finish that job.
Calls and texts
Calls and texts follow Calls and texts. Calls go only to the public number on a listing you selected, after you check the consent box. If they do not pick up, we may email the public address on file for that job. Replies to those job emails show on the job, and the robot may write back. Texts stay drafts.
Your choices (U.S., including California)
You can ask us what we have on you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context ads. To ask, reply to an email we sent you and write “privacy,” or send the same ask in yard chat with the email you used. We may need to confirm it is you.
Children
This site is for adults booking yard work or running a crew. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
How long we keep it
Leads and jobs stay until you ask us to delete them or they are no longer needed to run the directory and confirm work. Call recordings follow the phone provider’s retention. Browser storage stays on your device until you clear it.
Security
We use HTTPS and keep service keys on the server. No site is perfectly safe. Do not put card numbers or passwords into the yard chat.
Changes
If this policy changes in a material way, we will update this page and the date above.
