Question 1

What emails will I get?

Accepted Answer

The homepage, the yard prices page, and the popup say: we will email the price list, then seasonal prices and yard tips 1 or 2 times a month. You can unsubscribe anytime. If you start a job, the form says it sends one confirmation with the details. Privacy says transactional notes about a job you started may still be needed to finish that job. The site says it does not sell your email.

Question 2

How do I unsubscribe?

Accepted Answer

Privacy says every marketing email has a way to unsubscribe. Reply STOP or use the unsubscribe link and you will be taken off that list. Transactional notes about a job you started may still be needed to finish that job. The price-list forms say unsubscribe anytime. Quote emails include an unsubscribe link. This help page does not ask you to send a card number or a password.

Question 3

What data do you keep, and how do I ask about it?

Accepted Answer

Privacy says the site may store an email and signup, yard jobs, photos and chat, listing-claim details, and, if you ask for a call, a summary, transcript, and quoted price from the phone provider. It says it does not ask for a Social Security number, card number, or driver’s license to use the directory, and it does not sell personal information. You can ask what it has, ask for a correction, or ask for deletion by replying to an email from the site and writing privacy, or by writing in yard chat with the email you used. The site may need to confirm it is you. Leads and jobs stay until you ask for deletion or they are no longer needed to run the directory and confirm work.

Question 4

What does the site store in my browser?

Accepted Answer

Privacy says your device may keep the theme, selected crews, saved deals, a visitor id, and, if you add one, a phone-call key. Details are on the cookies page. Browser storage stays on your device until you clear it. If you paste a third-party key into the browser, the terms say that key stays on your device and you are responsible for it. Log in is part of asking for a job: the crew desk says only logged-in customers with a name, address, and phone can ask. This article does not describe a password reset, because the site does not publish one here.

Question 5

How do I contact Green Robot?

Accepted Answer

The About page says crews email jobs@mygreenrobot.com. Homeowners start a job on the site. For a privacy question, reply to an email from the site, or write in yard chat and include the email you used. The research methodology page lists the same email as the general contact for an error report, with the article link and the source. The published contact line is My Green Robot, Rhode Island, United States. The site does not publish a phone number or a street address on these pages.
